Woven, knotted and re-embroidered, this rug symbolizes the identity of the Berber tribes of Morocco. This delicate work of embroidery carried out on plain woven wool is called "akhnif". Entirely composed of fine and silky wool, this particular piece took 3 months to make. It reflects a deconstructed pattern with playful Berber symbols and an exciting color pallet of blue tones.
